"Do I look like that kind of person!?" Mason Ross exploded.
All the people in front of him, including Hank Clegg, Victoria, Michael, and Milo Edvin, rhythmically nodded their heads.
"Get out! This is my office!" Dr. Ross was relentless when he exploded into a rage.
And so they all, Hank Clegg included, were kicked out.
"Mason won't actually do anything to Merlin, will he?" Milo Edvin expressed some concern.
"Relax, he wouldn't dare. If he did, I'd break his dog's legs!" said Michael, behaving like a gang leader.
Mason Ross and Merlin stayed there for a long time.
So long that Victoria wanted to go in and see what happened.
As soon as Mason Ross came out, Michael and Milo Edvin rushed in.
"How are you? Merlin, how are you?" Even Michael was showing concern.
Merlin seemed okay. Compared to before, her expression relaxed and became way more peaceful.
When she saw Victoria follow in, she didn't call her mommy like before. Instead, she shyly lowered her head.
