"I'll assess the situation with Merlin," Toto hesitated, "She might still bear a grudge against me. My presence might interfere with her treatment."
Toto knew full well how provocative she could be to Merlin.
In the past, Merlin had always opposed her, essentially due to "jealousy" and comparison.
When it came to looks or talent, Merlin and Toto were on par. But Toto had a blissful family, a mom and dad who cherished her, and even Michael held her in high regard.

Victoria, along with Michael, followed the doctor to Merlin's hospital ward.
Surprisingly, like Milo, Merlin too was seated in the corner, but she was playing Doll House Game.
It seemed as if she was feeding a doll and soothing it to sleep.
"Merlin," considering Merlin's sensitivity, Victoria did not dare to touch the girl, she simply crouched down and gently called her name, "What are you playing?"
