Surrogacy?
When Mr. Gordon proposed this idea, even Mrs. Clegg couldn't help but laugh.
"Anyone can be a surrogate, why does it have to be our Victoria?" Mrs. Clegg asked, walking over.
Mr. Gordon looked at Mrs. Clegg, "That's the theory, but our master believes in debt repayment. Since this whole mess started because of Miss Talkington, it should also end with her."
"Let me make this clear," Victoria wished she could slap this man, "I have nothing to do with your Harry Gordon's problems. No one is anyone else's mother, cleaning up after their messes. He harbored ill intentions and ultimately harmed himself. Why do I, a bystander, have to take responsibility for that? The Gordon Family really thinks highly of itself!"
