"I haven't paid any attention to the Foundation in a long time."
One night, Victoria sat in front of her dressing table, grooming her hair and speaking to Hank Clegg.
Hank Clegg was behind her, propping himself up on the surface of the dressing table from the back, enveloping Victoria perfectly in his arms.
"Are you planning to return to the company?" he asked, bending his head down to plant a kiss on her.
Victoria looked at Hank Clegg's reflection in the mirror.
Due to the missing piece of memory, it seemed as though their relationship could never return to a specific moment again.
However, this calm and serene Hank Clegg was rather pleasant as well.
Theirs wasn't notably sweet or romantic, but it had a long-lasting charm.
"Of course, I am," she tilted her head back, allowing him to kiss the tip of her nose, "I find working in the company, especially under Miss Murphy, to be quite challenging."
Hank Clegg seemed to hesitate: "I'm rather strict too."
