The Jaguar pulled up in front of the Clegg Family's main gate just as Hank Clegg arrived in hot pursuit.
Victoria got out of the car and ran into the Clegg's main gate as if she were fleeing.
Matilda Murphy followed closely behind.
She stepped in front of Hank Clegg as he approached.
"I'll cover the cost to repair the car window. You don't have to worry, Hank." She said coldly, her gaze fixed on the ground in front of Hank Clegg. Although it appeared as an attempt at subservience, it carried an inexplicable threat to Hank Clegg.
Hank didn't utter a word and walked past Matilda Murphy.
"Hank, you are too tense," Matilda's voice was steady, her eyes still focused on the ground, "This is not how one chases a woman."
"Mind your own business." Hank responded coldly before continuing towards the main gate.
Yet, Matilda calmly retorted, "I will continue to interfere in the future."
Hank paused. Matilda, why did she always give him such a peculiar feeling?
