Upon hearing Victoria's sharp retort, the chief secretary merely raised an eyebrow.
"Hank, shall we let the police in now?" she asked Hank Clegg.
In fact, the police had already arrived but were kept waiting outside by Hank's orders.
He needed to be the first to glean all the details of the incident at hand.
And now, with an understanding of what had transpired, it was likely time to invite the police in.
"The recruitment hasn't finished yet, and we have not decided on an internal punishment yet." Hank said, "Give me a five-minute resolution for both these issues, Charlotte."
The chief secretary immediately looked towards the interviewer.
The interviewer was shaking: "Hank, Miss Charlotte, I... I never intended to... to..."
He was at a loss for words.
The video had clearly caught him being the first to force himself onto Victoria.
But how Victoria injured him wasn't recorded.
