Not only Victoria, but also the babies and Mrs. Clegg started laughing.
At the table, only Mr. Clegg and Hank Clegg kept a poker face, looking like they were cut from the same mold.
"Last time you asked me to accomplish three tasks," Hank Clegg was the first to speak, "Today, I can give you the answer."
Mr. Clegg did not respond and just looked at his son arrogantly, waiting for him to continue speaking.
The dinner table fell silent. Everyone at home could recall the heated arguments last time between Hank Clegg and Mr. Clegg when discussing these three tasks.
"Let's start with the third task, regarding Rebecca Smith. I have shown my attitude through my actions, so I suppose there's no need to dwell on it."
Mr. Clegg just harrumphed, remaining noncommittal.
