"I don't need your concern regarding internal matters of my Criminal Police Team." Hank Clegg coldly cut off Michael.
Michael sighed, and then asked the final question, "Okay... so, from Dad's subjective consciousness, does he lean towards us causing the accident, or does he lean more towards Rebecca Smith setting us up?"
This time, Hank Clegg remained silent for at least five seconds.
"I think, in the end, the law is greater than emotions," he finally replied.
"If what Rebecca Smith says is determined to be true, what penalties will we face?" Michael still calmly asked Hank Clegg.
"You both are underage. You will be sent to a dedicated establishment for minors until you reach adulthood for sentencing." Hank Clegg's eyes showed no emotion.
"What about Mom?" Jose raised his head in distress, somewhat accusingly to Hank Clegg.
"Her guardianship rights will be stripped. But there should be no penalties for her." Hank Clegg said.
