In the dead of night, the car pulled into the grand manor of the Clegg family.
"Second young master has brought the little lady back." Seeing Hank Clegg proactively open the car door for Victoria, allowing her to step out, the servant who had been waiting outside scampered off to report.
"Good for them, they are back." Mrs. Clegg wore a gentle smile at last.
Knowing that Hank Clegg and Victoria had taken the baby to the hospital had left her anxious the entire day.
Now, she smiled, relieved that the family had survived another harmonious day.
"Humph!" Mr. Clegg huffed, looking awfully displeased. "If the boy has learned his lesson, then I won't bear grudges. But if he persists in his stubbornness, I'll make him pay for his past and future misdeeds."
"Enough, enough," Mrs. Clegg quickly interjected when she saw Hank Clegg and Victoria walking in with the baby, "don't dampen the cheerful mood."
