The surgery for Jose already happened and was successful, but he'll need to rest and be observed for a while longer before he can be discharged.
Hank Clegg had also already picked up Michael and brought him back to the Clegg Family home, with a group of bodyguards accompanying him wherever he went.
He wouldn't let anything happen to his child again.
"When you rescue mommy, are you going to get married?" Michael asked, looking up at Hank Clegg with hope.
Hank Clegg exchanged glances with his son, Jose.
"Yes." His answer was only one word, but it was filled with unwavering determination. That much was clear.
A light sparkled in Michael's eyes, full of hope, "Then I can call you daddy then?"
Hank Clegg heart stirred.
"You can call me daddy now," he said, extending his arm and pulling Michael to him, "At any rate, it's only a matter of time. If it pleases you, you can call me whatever you want."
He was already his father. That was a fact that was not up for debate.
