Hank Clegg looked at the cream in the mixer and said, "I've always thought of you as a girl with magic. Any ordinary thing turns extraordinary under your touch. It's like your smile, every word you speak, every gesture you make...everything about you is special."
Victoria Talkington was astounded.
The little ones outside were also stunned. 'Uncle Hank, you're such a pro! Who needs a beginner's level?', they thought.
"I truly don't know how to sweet talk," Hank Clegg confessed candidly, "I'm not someone who earns my keep by speaking. Gazing affectionately at someone... I think my younger brother does it better than me. But I don't think you need that, right?"
Victoria paused for a moment, as his words seemed to make sense.
Hank Clegg then continued, "If you insist on me expressing my feelings through words, there's only one thing I can do."
At this point, he abruptly put his hands on Victoria's shoulders.
