"Oh dear, I'm so sleepy." Victoria's mom was a person who needed to sleep punctually.
"We should call it a day, we will resume tomorrow." She yawned, even though she had great fun teasing Hank Clegg, sleep was of uppermost importance to her.
"That's right!" Pointing to the floor, Victoria said, "Mr. Hank Clegg, please go back to sleep on your ground, um, goodnight."
Having said that, Victoria's mom turned on her side and fell asleep instantly.
Only Hank Clegg was still holding out on top of her, physically tensed, readied for anything at all times. Yet his opponent just suddenly dropped her guard, refusing to fight any more.
Was this a life-threatening situation for him?
"Victoria..." He called out to her, reaching out to touch her shoulder.
"Stop it..." Victoria mumbled and pushed his hand away.
Such an unguarded Victoria Talkington, such carefree Victoria Talkington, she really made it hard for him to take a step further.
