"I know," Phoebe Wood answered impatiently, "It's the family of that young Talkington who pursued you, isn't it? What's the matter?"
Rosalind Wood's voice instantly became lowered: "Don't mention that prodigal son. You know that I have been best friends with Penelope Talkington, the young Miss of the Talkington family, since middle school. The Talkington family has another adopted daughter, I've met her before, her name seems to be Victoria Talkington, she looks just like this woman..."
When Phoebe Wood heard this, she was shocked.
"You mean, this woman is the young Miss of the Talkington family?"
That would make her the daughter of one of C City's wealthy families.
"Yes," Rosalind Wood answered mysteriously, "But I heard that many years ago, the Talkington family's young Miss died in a plane crash."
"She died?" Phoebe Wood was somewhat confused, she asked puzzled, "So this Victoria is fake, an impostor?"
