Victoria was about to respond when Michael suddenly snatched her phone away.
"Mummy, you should accept the boss's offer. Since you've already resigned, it's good to have an extra friend, even if you can't work together," said Michael with a serious face.
"That's very true honey," Victoria nodded, "having more friends is never a bad thing."
She took back her phone and responded briskly, "Sure, where should we meet for dinner?"
Michael was very busy that afternoon.
His mom was going on a date with dad, she needed to look pretty, so he had to help her pick out an outfit.
