"Why do you ask when you already know the answer?" Daisy leaned into Shawn Clegg's chest, her face flushed red.
"Because without a ring, I can't kneel down and propose," Shawn Clegg held her in his embrace, "Daisy, I have no other way to tell you how important you are to me."
"I'm very content," Daisy spoke softly, "Just a few days ago, I was filled with despair about us, thinking that I would never be with you in this lifetime. Shawn, you've already given me the best. I couldn't ask for more."
"Couldn't ask for more?" Shawn Clegg echoed.
"Except for wanting to marry you." Daisy lifted her head to look at him, so close to Shawn Clegg, "My mom taught me that if you meet a guy you like, you shouldn't foolishly give your all, or else it would make you seem cheap, and if someone proposes, you shouldn't agree to marry right away. But I can't do that, being with you, I just want to give you everything. If you keep on not proposing, I'm afraid I might end up proposing to you first."
