Victoria immediately took a step back, leaving the battlefield to Caroline Wright and Eleanor Hartley.
Hank Clegg also came over. He silently caught Victoria's arm from behind, signaling her to move a little closer to him, to avoid being affected by the turmoil.
Although Victoria did move closer to Hank Clegg, she did not want to stray too far from the battlefield.
Joking aside, today's situation had reached the climax she had designed.
How could she possibly miss such a spectacle?
Upon hearing Caroline's reproach, Eleanor maintained a façade of composure with a forced smile. "Sister Vivian, how am I to be responsible for your family's affairs? Uncle and Aunt want a divorce and to sever the father-daughter relationship with you. I only just found out about this when you mentioned it."
As she spoke, she turned to look at Joseph Wright, "Uncle Joseph, have you heard about this?"
Joseph Wright's brows furrowed slightly.
