"Wait." Hank Clegg suddenly called her back.
Victoria's footsteps faltered for a moment.
She no longer harbored any hope that Hank Clegg would change his mind and stop her from leaving. Although she didn't even believe that he would truly drive her away, refusing to forgive her under any circumstances, all due to such worldly and laughable reasons.
