Michael hesitated for a moment, then shook his head slightly, "It hurts, but I can bear it."
Unexpectedly, Hank Clegg actually bent down and gave a light kiss on Michael's forehead.
"But you're hurt, and it hurts me too." His words surprised Michael even more.
After being momentarily stunned, Michael felt a rush of emotion.
"I'm really fine, Dad. I didn't even break a bone." Michael, like a little kitten, snuggled against Hank Clegg, "Dad, you've definitely had more serious injuries before, but you have never complained."
"That's not the same, Dad is an adult and a secret agent. Getting hurt from a young age is a common occurrence." Hank Clegg spoke gently to Michael, "Do you want me to stay with you tonight?"
"No need." Michael pushed Hank Clegg, "You should go and stay with Mom. I noticed she seems upset today."
Talking about Victoria, Hank Clegg also felt frustrated.
