The man was taken aback, but he quickly came to his senses and abruptly pulled back his fingers.

Shaking his injured hand, the man stared at Duo Duo in surprise.
"Be careful," the landlord warned him, clutching his wrist, "This little imp is skilled. We've been outsmarted by her already."
"They could be bait sent by the cops!" Another man nearby interjected.
The disheveled middle-aged man, hearing this, face lit up with intrigue.
"Interesting." He took off his jacket and stretched. "I like these energetic Lolitas."
