The handcuffs reflected the light of the front hall, radiating an inhumane cold light.
Hank Clegg's eyes got darker.
"Mike, there are many people here. I don't want to fight you."
If it came to fighting, he wasn't afraid.
But with Victoria here, he was worried he might accidentally hurt her.
"Hank Clegg," Mike pointed at him with the handcuffs, "you are interfering with the police investigation and you've hurt innocent civilians. I must exercise my rights as the Captain of Interpol to arrest you!"
"If you can arrest me, you are welcome to try." Hank Clegg's tone was nothing but contemptuous.
"You..." Mike had anticipated that Hank Clegg would resist.
This resistance was exactly what he wanted.
If Hank Clegg dared to arrest him, he would have a justifiable reason to fight back.
He had looked forward to competing against Hank Clegg for a long time.
If he won, he could take him away as the victor.
Even better if he lost.
