"What are you murmuring about?"
Suddenly, a deep male voice came from behind her.
Startled, Victoria realized that Hank Clegg was in the elevator with her.
She had been so engrossed in her sorrows when she entered that she hadn't noticed him.
At that moment, a tear was still clinging to her cheek as she looked at him with eyes full of distress.
In the morning, she had slammed his car door with attitude, but now she stood before him in this pitiful and embarrassing state.
"Nothing." Victoria turned her head away and wiped her tears.
Hank Clegg didn't say anything, he just cancelled the elevator floor and pressed the button for the top floor.
"What are you doing?" Victoria was shocked, "I need to return to work."
"Are you in a fit state to work right now?" Hank Clegg glanced at her.
The elevator ascended to the top floor of the office building, and Hank Clegg stepped out, heading for the rooftop.
