"Abigail, you saw everything clearly on that day, didn't you?" Joanna Bell asked Abigail Cooper hopefully.
She looked at her, her eyes conveying a hint.
"I do remember what happened that day very clearly." Before Abigail Cooper could open her mouth, Charlotte Wilson quickly interjected.
Charlotte was present when Joanna Bell had approached Abigail Cooper to get their stories straight.
She knew that Joanna and the other secretaries were scheming against Victoria. She had already decided then, no matter how those secretaries wanted to frame Victoria, she would resolutely tell the truth.
Now, seeing that Joanna was finally asking her, she hastily explained, "When Victoria arrived, you immediately...."
"Why the rush? We haven't asked you yet," Abigail Cooper calmly interrupted Charlotte Wilson.
Charlotte, being a newcomer, was taken aback by Abigail Cooper's interruption. She couldn't continue smoothly.
