"Where can you tell?" Harry Gordon squinted his eyes, his gaze sliding over Victoria, "When we first met yesterday, I thought Miss Talkington was a recent university graduate. I work in media, I see beautiful women all the time, but a uniquely beautiful woman like Miss Talkington is very rare."
"Thank you for the compliment," Victoria replied modestly, bowing her head. "I'm flattered by Mr. Jayden's appreciation, but I think you're exaggerating a bit."
For the first time, someone praised her and it made her feel a bit uncomfortable.
Yet, Harry Gordon stared at Victoria Talkington in awe, almost mesmerized by her.
