"I must have been out of my mind," Hank Clegg sighed as he returned to his room that night, looking toward the terrace and laughing at himself, "What 'three fundamental principles' was I thinking..."
He entered the bathroom, turned on the light, looked at himself in the mirror, and paused for a moment.
Then he shook his head and turned on the shower.
An image of a stubborn Victoria Talkington flashed in his mind, but Hank Clegg thought he shouldn't be bothered by everything she said at dinner today.
He genuinely didn't care, did he?
"I think...the reason why mommy managed to get daddy back then wasn't unreasonable," Duo sit on the carpet, thoughtfully told Michael. "You see, despite his formidable abilities, every time he confronts mommy, he has no initiative."
"That's not true," Michael countered, "It's because daddy likes to be domineering, that's why mommy had to set some ground rules with him."
