After her long rant, Mellisa Taylor once again focused her gaze on Hank Clegg.
Hank met her with a blank stare for two seconds: "Done?"
"Not... yet!" Mellisa gnashed her teeth and risked everything, saying, "Now, many creditors are beginning to doubt the Talkington family's repayment ability. They are getting restless and want to take legal action."
"How do you know the Talkington family can't repay?" Hank countered.
"Ha, how could I not? We all know the full story. The Talkington family has long been out of funds, robbing Peter to pay Paul. Certain organizations have their eyes on them, ready to investigate," Mellisa responded smugly, "They're desperate to ally themselves with the Clegg family, isn't it clear?"
In saying this, she completely forgot how desperate her own family, the Taylor family, was to connect with the Clegg family.
