Darton Thompson shook his head, looking both helpless and sad, "I'm sorry, Your Majesty the Queen, I can't say here..."
Before Victoria could respond, Mr. Thompson immediately raised his voice, "But the engagement ceremony must be suspended."
"Shut your mouth!" Victoria suddenly exclaimed.
Her rare show of anger, with a single rebuke, made the already silent Grand Hall seem to fall into an even more indescribable atmosphere.
"No need for someone to leak the information." Suddenly, the ever-quiet Nigel Clegg said coldly behind Mr. Thompson, "I have seen the report too, but, I'm sorry, even knowing about this matter, it does not change my determination to marry Miss Melody Foster."
After he finished speaking, Victoria's face turned somewhat pale.
Hearing her son speak like this, she already knew that the matter must be very serious, and moreover, serious enough to potentially stop his marriage.
She suddenly wanted to tell him to stop talking.
