"Where is Arthur Baker?"
After being drenched awake, Nigel Clegg immediately asked.
"I, I don't know anything..." the Doctor stammered in fear, "I'm just a doctor..."
"Who ordered you to operate on me? Where is that person?" Nigel Clegg pressed.
He was seething with rage now, and he believed his expression must have been chilling.
He had always been a very composed and calm person from childhood, never given to such open displays of fury.
This incident had made him realize.
Once he lost his temper, the consequences could be truly dreadful.
"I really don't know..." the Doctor was so frightened he was nearly wetting himself, "I was just hired to perform the surgery... I've never even seen the employer, I, I really don't know anything..."
"Good," Nigel Clegg sneered, "then go see your friend!"
As he spoke, he made a motion as if to twist the Doctor's neck.
