"Yes," Melody Foster also smiled faintly, "we should go to the Police Station now."
She obediently stretched out her hand, making a gesture as if willing to be handcuffed, "Let's go."
Nigel Clegg reached out his hand as well.
He smiled lightly, "Yes, let's go."
He took her hand and placed it in his own palm.
Such a gesture somewhat surprised Melody Foster.
However, the next second, he extended his arm and gently embraced her into his arms.
"But we're not going to the Police Station," he said, looking down at her with a fond expression.
Melody Foster's beautiful phoenix eyes widened, almost bewildered.
She felt like she couldn't quite understand what was happening.
While holding her shoulder with one hand and her hand with the other, Nigel Clegg said, "I'm taking you to a Kingdom you've never been to before, to a place where you can start a happy life anew, to another beautiful family."
Melody Foster felt like she couldn't comprehend what he was saying.
