"Young Master Shaw," Dodo began, and her emotions surged unexpectedly as she stood up abruptly, "I thought you were not that kind of person, I didn't expect you to be no different from your mother."
William Shaw was clearly startled.
As Dodo stood up, he could only look up at her, seemingly at a loss for words for a moment.
Dodo looked at William Shaw and continued, "Yes, you must have your own difficulties and objectives. Marrying into a distinguished family must be a great help to your career. But to yield to benefits like this, it really disappoints me. I didn't expect you to be so... conventional."
She rattled off this outburst like a string of exploding firecrackers.
Not giving William Shaw a chance to interject.
Originally, she felt that walking away like this, the next time they'd meet would probably be at the Coming of Age Ceremony.
William Shaw had indeed been good to her, so to keep this hidden from him seemed inappropriate for when that time came.
