Duo Duo gave a wry smile. What reason could she possibly give?

Even if she would reunite with William Shaw in the future, now wasn't the time to speak of such things.
She could only shake her head, "No, you'll understand later."
"Later, when is later?" William Shaw pressed, "Duo Duo, you're leaving, can't you just be straightforward with me?"
"William," Duo Duo lifted her head, her eyes directly locking onto William Shaw's, "Why are you so good to me?"
William Shaw was taken aback, then he said, "Because, I really like you."
He was telling the truth.
"But I'm a man," Duo Duo asked directly.
William Shaw chuckled bitterly, "I know, but does liking you have anything to do with your gender? You might be misunderstanding something, thinking I'm gay? Duo Duo, I'm not that kind of person. I just simply like you, because your beauty transcends gender boundaries."
