Summer Gardner brushed his hand off with a swipe, laughing and scolding, "Shameless!"
He chuckled, not bothering to explain.
Little did his wife know, this right hand of his had almost been lost.

...
The Walker family mansion.
Adam Walker hurried back, bursting into the living room to see the young nanny Lanz iron the move, coming out of the kitchen with a cup of hot water.
"Where's Ajin?" Adam Walker asked urgently.
"In her room."
"Didn't I tell you to call for an ambulance?"
Lanz hung her head, "Aunt Jin... she... she wouldn't let me."
With furrowed brows, Adam Walker strode to the bedroom door on the first floor and pushed it open.
Inside the room, Ajin leaned against the headboard, staring blankly into the night.
Hearing his voice, she turned her face, smiled at him, "Don't blame Lanz, it was me who told her not to call. The hospital visits, various tests, blood draws, injections... you know, they're all unnecessary."
