The two of them walked downstairs, just as Adam Walker came out of the kitchen with tea.
Seeing the father and daughter come down, Adam Walker looked over inquiringly.
Logan Bennett shook his head slightly at him, "Bro, we're heading back first."
"Wait a second!" Adam Walker put down the teacup in his hand, "The dish Jīn made, take some back for Summer Gardner to try."
"Sure." Logan Bennett followed him into the kitchen.
Adam Walker took out a plate of the dish, packed it in a bag, and handed it to him, "How is it?"
"That girl won't say anything, I'll take her home first, then go have a good talk with Yao Yang's mom and find out what's going on." Logan Bennett took the dish handed to him, "I'm off now."
Adam Walker nodded gently and saw the father and daughter out the door.
As he watched the car slowly drive away, he turned and walked back inside, immediately grabbing his coat and car keys.
"Jīn, you two have lunch without waiting for me."
