He turned his face and looked at the food section near the supermarket exit. He pushed his cart and went over, carefully examined around, and then pointed at the candied hawthorns on the shelf.
"Honey, I want that."
"Wait."
Ivana Bennett rushed over and bought one of every type of candied hawthorn on the shelf. She wrapped them carefully and held them out in front of him with both hands.
"So... it's all for you!" She winked at him sweetly, tilted her head and spoke softly, "See, isn't your wife spoiling you?"
Since he had never tried them, she decided to buy every variety.
In the past, no one spoiled him. Moving forward, she would!
She wanted to make sure he had a chance to experience everything he had not tasted, played with, visited, or done before.
