Lucas Walker was indeed in the presence of his future mother-in-law, and he dared not show any signs of neglect. He nodded very politely, "Alright, Mrs. Gardner, we'll see you this evening!"
"See you this evening!"
Summer Gardner waved at him, turning around to head towards the car door.
Ivana Bennett quickly followed her mother, sitting in the passenger's seat. While closing the door, she did not forget to glance back at Lucas Walker, winking and quietly waving.
After closing the car door and fastening the seat belt, Summer Gardner restarted the car. Seeing her struggle with the turn, Lucas hurried towards her to guide.
"Turn the wheel a little to the left... Good, now straighten up... then turn half to the right..."
Ordinarily, if Ivana was there, she would do all these tasks.
This time, however, she purposefully gave Lucas the chance to help.
With Lucas' guidance, Summer easily completed the turn. Through the car window, she gave Lucas a grateful smile.
