Inside the cruise ship's Control Center.
The staff watching the radar screen breathed a sigh of relief as no ships were approaching. "It seems we've had a false alarm."
One of his companions grinned, "You know, I was kind of hoping someone would give chase. Our torpedoes have been sitting idle on this ship for too long!"
The other staff present all laughed.
This ship was more than a cruise ship; it was more than a training base. It was equipped with cutting-edge offensive systems capable of hitting surface and aerial targets.
Unbeknownst to the staff as they jokingly chuckled, Lucas Walker was already underwater, slowly approaching the cruise ship.
Instead of boarding immediately, he swam to the stern and quickly removed an underwater explosive device he'd brought along with him. He attached it near the stern and set a time delay on it.
The timer on the explosive device began counting down.
"30, 29, 28…"
After setting things up, Lucas quickly swam towards the railing.
