The crocodile didn't back down, instead it changed direction and cautiously approached the antelope stuck in the mud.
Arthur jumped in front of his prey, held himself aloof, and let out a disgruntled growl.
Then he launched the first attack on the scavenger.
The crocodile quickly retreated into the mud, dodging his attack. Arthur returned to the antelope, bit it, and dragged it out of the sludge.
When the scavenger approached once again, Arthur grew increasingly furious. With a powerful lunge, he catapulted off its body and attacked.
The crocodile fought back instantly.
The two figures were locked in a fierce battle amidst the mud, sending it splashing everywhere. Ivana Bennett, holding her gun, didn't dare fire.
At this point, both creatures were entangled in conflict. If she shot, she may very likely hurt Arthur.
Now, she had to rely on Arthur himself.
