After receiving the call, Lucas Walker dashed back as fast as he could. However, because he and King Arthur were deep within the forest, their return was somewhat delayed.
"Hey..." a soldier nearby barked, "Move away!"
Everyone turned at the sound, noticing that King Arthur had somehow reached Ivana Bennett. The soldier rushed forward, shielding Ivana from King Arthur, while reprimanding him.
King Arthur did not move away, he simply opened his mouth wide and bit off a piece of the half-cooked grilled meat that Ivana had set on the rack.
Everyone sighed in relief at the sight.
Ivana chuckled softly, "Looks like my cooking isn't half bad."
King Arthur lay on the ground, obliviously shredding the grilled meat in his mouth.
Lucas looked at him and shrugged, "He was just really hungry."
