Lucas Walker looked at her puzzled, only to see her cutely tilting her head, playfully batting her eyes at him.
"Hey, Lucas Walker!" Seeing him stone-faced, Ivana Bennett stood upright, somewhat offended. "I've been trying to act cute here, can you at least give me some face and crack a smile?!"
Lucas Walker's face relaxed, he walked over and tenderly stroked her cheek, then gently wrapped her in his arms.
"Ivana, you must be an angel."
"I am definitely not!" Ivana raised her face, "Let me tell you, you can't use this word to describe me. Where we come from, being called an angel is considered an insult."
"An insult?" he quirked an eyebrow. "Why?"
In his mind, an angel should be the most beautiful thing.
"And you call yourself a sinologist, not understanding this!" Ivana rolled her eyes at him, "Angel, isn't that a pile of shit that's fallen from the sky? Am I god's excrement?!"
Lucas Walker was stunned. Then he burst out laughing.
