He lifted his hand, tucking a few stray hairs behind Ivana Bennett's face. Lucas Walker kissed her forehead and then stood up.
Glancing at Ivana on the pillow, he walked out the door.
Olivia Parker followed him all the way and saw him to the door.
"Lucas Walker, I hope you won't show up too early. She needs some time, a bit of peace... Given what I know about her, she'll probably sleep until noon."
Turning back to face Olivia, Lucas Walker spoke formally.
"Miss Parker, I owe you one. If you need anything in the future, please don't hesitate to ask."
Olivia shrugged, "I'm helping Ivana, not you."
He gazed at her face for a moment, gave a slight nod, and then, after a moment, muttered two words.
"Thank you."
Olivia smiled, waving him goodbye, "Farewell, Count."
"Goodbye."
With that, Lucas Walker turned and left.
Downstairs, standing in front of Ivana's apartment building.
Lucas Walker wore a thin shirt as he gazed at the floor where she lived.
