By the time Olivia Parker finished her steak, Ivana Bennett had polished off the entire bottle of red wine.
Despite this, Ivana remained lucid. Her face, now flushed, was the only indication that she had been drinking.
They didn't even leave the building. Instead, they went to a budget karaoke place located on the lower level.
Ivana ordered an expansive karaoke room and requested drinks and fruit juices. As soon as they stepped through the door, she rushed over to select songs.
"Olivia, listen... I want you to know just how great my mood is... I'm gonna sing 'Happy Today' first, and then 'Long Live Freedom'..."
Settled on the couch, Ivana juggled a beer in one hand and a microphone in the other, singing song after song.
She alternated between singing and guzzling down her beer.
Olivia merely watched from the couch, quietly sipping on bottled water.
