She grabbed his arm, with Summer Gardner anxiously looking towards the door, "Stop messing around, Ivana will be back soon!"
How could that child possibly return so soon after she sneakily took her phone to make a call?
"Don't worry, that kid won't be back for a while," Logan Bennett softly stroked her back, his tone naturally tender, "These past few days, have you just been eating makeshift meals again?"
Summer shrugged, "Didn't you make dumplings for me? When I'm at home, I just eat dumplings."
Looking at her state, Logan felt helpless and heartbroken, "How about... we hire a nanny?"
"No need, I'm not used to having strangers in the house." Summer flashed a brilliant smile, "It's fine, I can write music and sleep in when I'm alone. If worst comes to worst, I can just order takeout, right?"
Leaning in to kiss her lips, Logan held her even tighter, "Wife, I'm sorry... making you suffer all these years."
