Mumbling something under her breath, Ivana Bennett tucked the tablet phone back into her pocket and, after washing her hands, returned to the tent.
Inside the tent, the table was set and the soup was already boiling for quite some time. Summer Gardner was adding water to it. On spotting Ivana, she quickly shot her a warning glance.
"So you remembered to come back?"
From one side, Logan Bennett signaled her with his eyes.
Ever dutiful, Ivana cast a pleasing smile at her mother, "I was just out thinking about grabbing some game to add to the dish."
"You look like you're almost an uncivilized jung woman!" Summer looked with dismay at Ivana's disheveled hair, turned, fetched a comb, and ordered, "Go make yourself decent."
Logan Bennett chuckled and offered some lunch meat, "Stink-stink, here, have a piece before you go and comb."
