Seated in a wheelchair, Lucas Walker propped his forehead with his left hand, his blue eye peeking through his eye patch, studying each passenger entering the airport.
Because of the wound on his back, he had to sit upright, an uncomfortable posture, but he couldn't care less about his comfort right now.

The airport shuttle stopped outside the entrance, and Ivana Bennett got off holding her kitten, Snowball, along with the other passengers.
"Let's buy something tasty first, then go check in our luggage."
Cradling the little guy in one arm, Ivana walked into the airport, heading straight for the airport supermarket.
After buying a hamburger for herself to stave off hunger, Ivana bought a bag of kitten food, a box of milk, and a baby bottle for the little guy.
