"Good, very good!" Ivana Bennett sneered, "Lucas Walker, you've got guts!"
He raised his right hand, with one arm propping his head, lazily peering down at her, "Thanks for the compliment."
Ivana gave a small laugh and then, under the covers, she slowly lifted her leg, pulled it back then kicked with all her might.
Lucas had already sensed her movement. His large hand beneath the cover grabbed, catching her hate-filled right foot as it swung over.
"Stop making a fuss, or else, I'll get really angry."
Stop making a fuss?!
He thought she was playing with him?
He was really getting angry?
She was angry enough to commit murder!
Ivana quickly kicked her other foot in his direction. This time, her movement was extremely swift and ruthless.
The kick hit Lucas squarely in his abdomen. He instantly slid down from under the covers, tumbling onto the carpet.
Clink clink clunk clunk!
