He glanced at the suit thrown aside, slowly surveying the port before lifting his face to check the weather.
Over the distant sea, there were dark clouds aplenty.
"If you were General Smith, what would you do?" he asked loudly as he steered the boat.
Ivana Bennett tore a strip of cloth from her clothing and used it to secure her long, wind-blown hair. "If I were General Smith, I'd kill you first!"
Smiling in the face of the wind, Cyrus Moon said, "Now is not the time for jokes."
Getting up from the chair, Ivana turned her face to look at the increasingly distant island.
"He has so many soldiers, yet only a few ships. If I'm not mistaken, he's probably arranged for someone to wait for us at sea. A greedy guy like him would never be satisfied with just six billion."
"Great minds think alike," said Cyrus Moon, turning his face towards the distant sky. "Whether it's fortunate or unfortunate... there will be a massive storm tonight."
