"Go do your work, it's important," Summer Gardner, smiling, stood up. "Tomorrow, let Ivana show you around Bitterford City, remember to come for dinner. Your uncle will have something tasty cooked for you."
The family of three accompanied Lucas Walker to the door, his palm never leaving Ivana Bennett's. Sensing his thoughts, Ivana glanced at her parents.
"Mom... Dad... I... I'll see Lucas off."
This guy purposely didn't let Summer Gardner drive in just to get her to see him off, a trick she was well aware of.
Summer Gardner waved with a smile, "Go then. Walk him to the entrance of the residential area, then come back. It's cold outside, don't catch cold."
"Then we're leaving." Ivana Bennett smiled at her parents, guiding Lucas Walker toward the entrance of the residential area.
Watching their retreating forms, Summer Gardner simply lifted the corner of her lip.
"This son-in-law isn't bad, it's just... his home is a bit far."
Saying this, she couldn't help but sigh.
