Ivana Bennett was sitting at the edge of the table in the dining room, chewing absent-mindedly on the dumpling on her chopsticks.
Summer Gardner noticed her odd expression, "Ivana, what's wrong...are you not feeling well?"
"Ah...No!" Ivana quickly snapped back to reality and smiled at her, "The dumplings my dad made are indeed delicious, so fragrant and not heavy at all."
"Well, then eat more." Summer pushed a plate of dumplings towards her from the table, "You seem to have lost weight these days, and your complexion isn't very good, better build up your strength at home."
"Thanks, mom."
Ivana picked up a dumpling and placed it in her bowl. Looking at the steaming dumplings in her bowl, she was reminded once again of Lucas Walker.
His expression was obviously strange when he brought her home. She wondered about the tricky questions her dad had asked him.
