Just as Summer Gardner was about to speak, the door was already pushed open by Logan Bennett, his eyes swept over the two red-eyed individuals in the room, he sighed helplessly with distress.
Walking over, he embraced both of them with each arm.
"The two of you have cried enough, and have vented enough, I speculate, both the queen and princess must be hungry by now, isn't it time to go downstairs and eat some dumplings?"
"I'm going to wash my face, you two go down first," Summer Gardner said as she turned and walked into the restroom.
Ivana Bennett followed Logan Bennett downstairs, walked into the kitchen, and helped him carry the ready-made dumplings to the table.
The family of three sat down together at the table for dinner, after taking a bite of her dumpling, Ivana Bennett couldn't help but think of Lucas Walker.
That guy... was he having dinner too?
...
...
In the hotel guest room.
Lucas Walker stood by the window, staring at the strange city outside the window.
