Ivana Bennett extended her palm, setting her thumb perpendicular to the ground in the method her father had taught her to estimate distances.
The small island that she was currently on was approximately seven to eight kilometers from the mainland, and she should be able to swim the distance as long as she found a suitable floating object.
As for a floating object?
Ivana looked around and her gaze landed on a wooden plank not far away, her eyes immediately brightening.
This plank was probably part of the helicopter's interior, the owner sure was extravagant to use such expensive mahogany. But it was just what she needed as a flotation device.
Ivana immediately walked over, grabbed the wooden plank lying on the ground, and prepared to drag it to the sea, intending to use it to swim to the nearest coast.
Then, she would be free!
Arsing with the plank, Ivana glanced sideways at Lucas Walker.
