Ivana Bennett reached out to grab the fish, and Lucas Walker removed the fishing hook from its tail. As Ivana turned to place the fish back in the bucket, she fumbled, and the fish jumped onto the deck.
Ivana, in her haste to retrieve it, slipped and plunged directly into the sea.
"Careful!"
Lucas extended his hand to catch her but failed to grip her in time. With a splash, Ivana fell straight into the sea, causing water to spray around.
As soon as she touched the water, Ivana began to thrash around.
"Lucas, hurry…save… save me, I can't swim!"
Watching her bob in the water, he felt a knot in his stomach. Without thinking, he dove off the boat, swam to her side, and seized her arm.
"Don't panic, relax. I'll swim you over."
With a hold on his neck, Ivana, with water still dripping off her face, broke out laughing.
"Lucas, you're so gullible, fooled by me again."
